Having trained and worked as an Architect (with a big ‘A’) over the last 16 years, my eye and interest has always been drawn to the details that turn a house into a home, a space into a reflection of my client’s personality and values.  

Architects (with a big ‘A’) focus on the bones of a building, it’s structure, it’s orientation…the big ideas behind a build, all worthy of attention, but often overlook the less grandiose aspects of a project, the quotidian aspects of a space which bring comfort, ease and a sense of home….what I call the flesh of a project. 

The flesh is where the magic happens for me, a combination of elements that engage directly with our senses and sense of self. 

A home should tell a story, your story, not one picked from a catalogue or ripped from a magazine or collated on a Pinterest board (worthy tools if used in moderation), but a home as unique to you as we are to each other.

I have been fortunate to find myself working closely with some of the finest craftsmen and manufacturers in Portugal over the last few years, and have built a strong working relationship with craftsmen whose expertise far outshines my own in their respective fields, allowing me to offer my clients real value and a wealth of expertise in pursuit of their ambitions for their home.
